The golem won’t change its texture this fast. I only made it so for you to see the stages.
After creating your golem tame it with a copper ingot. Like that it will follow you.
The Copper Golem will: — change its texture 3 times in 15 minute — push a button if its near to it every 10 seconds — rotate its head sometimes
You can reverse its texture when you right click on it with an axe.
Hope you like it. If you find any errors please let me know.

I just tried out the Mod. I hope my feedback is useful for you. Maybe it will give you ideas on what you’d like to improve.
(My general opinion: As it is, it’s sort of cute, and mostly functional. It could be smaller. It could be better at finding buttons and randomly choosing which ones to push. Oxidization stuff could be better. I’m quite happy I even have the opportunity to play with it in Minecraft. Currently a 3/5 for me.)
What I noticed (and my opinion, which you can disregard according to your creative vision.) -(I like the «recipe» to create it.) -It needs a 3 wide, 3 tall, 1 deep space to be created. Snow golems take the same amount of blocks but can be created in a 1x1x3tall space. (It makes sense to me if the copper golem could be created with the same amount of space.) -(I liked its, infrequent head rotation.) -(I like its button push animation.) -It oxidizes in a non-random amount of time, (quick enough to see its features, might be too fast for regular play.) This can’t be altered by tick speed, (if it could, I think would make it easier for players to control how fast it oxidizes.) For reference, Copper Blocks have a 64/1125 chance to oxidize per tick, so it changes states about every 18 minutes with regular tick speed. -It pushes buttons every 10 seconds. (This seems fine to me.) -It tends to push the same buttons either because it doesn’t move, moves between the same two buttons, or it can’t find other buttons if they are further than 5 blocks. (It could be more random and better at finding buttons and have a further range for finding them.) -There’s no behavior change between oxidation states, even on its last one. (It would be cool if it slowed down the more it oxidized until it stopped at its last stage.) -It can’t be polished with an ax. -When lightning hits it, it hurts it. (I think it would be better if it reverted the golem to its newly constructed state.) -Lightning isn’t attracted to it, so it needs to stand beside a lightning rod or be hit with a channeling trident. -It doesn’t interact with the player or anything else other than buttons. (I think some interaction would be nice.) -It can fit through a 1 wide opening unless there’s an open door there. (I think it would be cool if it could.) -It can fit through a 1.5 tall opening if it’s pulled with a leash. It can fit through a 2 tall opening with a trap door on the bottom and top without player assistance. -When it fits through these spaces, its pixels go through blocks.
