If the impostors do well, and the crew gets dwindled down either through their own work or through convincing the crew to vote out members of their own team, then the impostors will win as soon as there is an equal number of impostors to crew.
How does Fortnite “Amidst Us” differ from the game it’s based on?
The biggest difference between the Fortnite version and the original is the perspective change. Naturally, by bringing the camera down into the map, visibility is not so much more limited as it is different. Players can see along hallways much more readily, and the larger, less confined environments can make it more obvious when an impostor is trying to get close.
Additionally, the slower speed of doing things like jumping into vents or getting believably far enough away from a body can make playing impostor much more difficult.
The first person perspective also makes it harder to tell when players are watching you, and it seems that impostors can often go for kills while being observed without knowing.
Vents also require a bit more time to traverse since they must be done within the physical space of the map.
How does the Fortnite map “Amidst Us” hold up?
While it is certainly interesting that the Fortnite creative mode allows for the recreation of games as complex as Among Us, it certainly felt as though it was lacking a lot of the charm. The maps lack the artistic unity of Among Us, as the Fortnite assets look bland. Tasks are often no longer mini-games, and instead just ask players to either cart something from somewhere to somewhere or hold down the “E” key long enough.

The Among Us creative map in Fortnite is called Amidst Us. You can play it by using the code 0288-3600-7090, and entering it into one of the portals in the Fortnite Creative Hub. It has a lot of the same gameplay as the real game, and you can join up with 10 different people.
There can be one or two different imposters and your goal is to eliminate the crewmates without getting caught. The crew can call meetings if they think they know who the imposter is and can vote them out. This is when microphones become un-muted and you can discuss among everyone who you think is the imposter. If you are the imposter, you will want to persuade them to leave you alone and get rid of someone else!
Meetings can be called if a body is found, which is represented by a snowman on the map. You can also hit the emergency meeting button which should be located in the middle of the Control Room.
The imposter has access to the vents that you can hide and get around in to move quickly around the map. You will want to make sure that a crew member doesn’t see you going in and out of there because that will give you away. You can also sabotage certain parts of the map as the imposter in these vents.
To win as the imposters, you will need to eliminate enough players from the crew to equal the amount of imposters are still in the game. If there’s two imposters, then you need to get the crewmates down to two people. If there’s just one imposter, then you need to take out all of the crew but one!
If you’re a crewmate, your goal is to complete the different tasks listed on the screen. If the crew can complete all of the tasks, then that team wins the game! These tasks are a bit more in-depth and skill based in Among Us, in the Fortnite version it’s a lot of just clicking various buttons and small other tasks that need to be completed. You will also want to keep your eye on anyone acting suspicious! If someone is following you a bit too closely, then that means they are likely an imposter and you will want to call a meeting to vote them out. If you can vote all of the imposters out, that’s another way you can win the game.

Цель агентов — устранить самозванцев, а цель самозванцев — устранить агентов. Устранение самозванцев происходит через голосование, как и в Among Us.

С выходом обновления 17.40 в Fortnite добавили новый режим «Самозванец», копирующий игровой процесс игры Among Us. Это вызвало бурю критики поклонников обеих игр. Разработчик Among Us прокомментировал сложившуюся ситуацию в Twitter.
Маркус Бромандер (один из основателей Innersloth) раскритиковал создателей Fortnite. С его слов, разработчики не могут привнести ничего нового в игру и просто копируют популярные режимы из других игр.
Сам режим «Самозванцы» в Fortnite добавили совсем недавно. Суть режима заключается в том, что две противоборствующие фракции (агенты и самозванцы) выполняют определенные задачи и стараются одержать верх.
Для каждой группы свои задания. Агенты выполняют квесты по типу калибровки сундуков, попутно определяя предателей. Перед самозванцами стоит задача устранить всех агентов, параллельно всячески им мешая — телепортируя игроков из одного места в другое и отключая задания, чтобы выиграть время. В игре есть голосование, схожее по типу с голосованием в Among Us. С помощью него происходит устранение самозванцев.
