The Order of the Stone
She was hired by Ivor to get a Wither skull to trade for a diamond. When she and Jesse went to the trade, Ivor scammed them both by giving them lapis lazuil instead of a diamond. They and the whole gang ran after Ivor up to the EnderCon convention where Gabriel the Warrior was answering questions.
Personality
Petra is shown to be brave, stubborn, sarcastic, impulsive and sometimes aggressive, but she can also be caring, friendly, supporting and loyal. Petra is shown to be closer to Jesse than anyone else. She is always ready to protect her friends when danger is closing in.
When she is making deals with people she is always loyal to them, which is shown that she can be too trusting sometimes. However, as implied by Lukas’s quote; «Whoa, EVERYBODY knows you don’t mess with Petra. Not if you know what’s good for you.», Petra is not someone to be trifled with, and people know it.
As said earlier, Petra can be quite aggressive and hostile to her enemies, as shown by her interactions with Ivor in Epsiodes 1 and 2, her arguments with The Youtubers who falsely believed Lukas to be a serial killer and her interactions with Aiden and Hadrian. She is openly hostile and is quick to fight with them.

This dymamic duo has been through a lot. They’ve jumped off a bridge, saved each other from the Wither Storm, and even escaped an arrest in a city in the sky! Each of all these wacky adventures has had important one thing in common though: they’ve done it together. And at long last, after 2 years, they are now the second canon ship of MC:SM (the first being Harvor), as of «Below the Bedrock.» These are just some of the highlights of their best moments.
The Order of the Stone
When Petra is first introduced to the game, she says hi to Jesse first.
An obvious one to point out, Petra saves Jesse in the forest when she goes out looking for Reuben.
Jesse shows some concern for Petra going off into the Nether alone. (Determinant)
Jesse says that it’s awesome being Petra when she shows her her wither skull.
Petra practically asks Jesse to come with her to make the trade after the previous.
Jesse, although relcuctant, agrees to try to give Lukas a chance at friendship for Petra’s sake, showing how much she’s willing to change for her.
Jesse calls Petra a «super-close friend,» when chatting with Olivia and Axel.
When Axel questions Petra’s presence in the woods, she says that she was just drawn by Jesse’s «high-pitched screams,» but seems hesitant upon mentioning it, hinting that maybe she was looking for her in the first place.
Petra sticks up for Jesse when Ivor threatens to call the entire deal off. Even with a risk at hand, she’d still be on Jesse’s side.
Jesse and Petra share a look when Gabriel asks them to help him.

After the ladders are crafted, Petra scratches her head bashfully, blushes, and thanks Jesse for his help in making her feel better.
Jesse saves Petra from the spider when building the dirt tower up to the tunnel.
Jesse is scared and panicked when she sees the portrait of x-ed out Petra.
Petra tries to convince Jesse that she can tell everyone who the White Pumpkin really is, yet another demonstration of her trust in her.

When making the choice either to stay with Beacon Town or leave with Petra, the screen shows Stampy’s Love Garden heart on Petra’s side, and a building on Radar and Lukas’s side. Could this be a representation of Jesse choosing between being with his lover and being the Hero in Residence?
